The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of social responsibility on social entrepreneurship, focusing on the role of motivation for progress among women entrepreneurs in Kerman province. Considering the capacity of modern technologies in developing individual and social capabilities, this research seeks to extract implications for designing e-learning environments and curricula for social entrepreneurship. This research was descriptive in nature and method, and applied in terms of purpose, collecting data through field research methods. The research instruments included a researcher-made social responsibility questionnaire, Arab's Social Entrepreneurship Questionnaire (2011/1390), and the Helmreich and Spence Motivation for Progress Questionnaire (1977). The statistical population consisted of all women entrepreneurs in Kerman province (N=677), and the sample size was determined as 250 people based on Cochran's formula. Stratified random sampling was employed. Data were analyzed using SPSS software, path analysis, and structural equation modeling. Based on the results, organizational social responsibility has a positive and significant effect on social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, motivation for progress showed a positive and significant correlation with social responsibility and social entrepreneurship; however, its mediating role was not confirmed. These findings are important for designing e-learning courses and competency-based curricula in the field of social entrepreneurship, indicating that an exclusive emphasis on individual motivation, without considering technological and value-based contexts, is insufficient.
