Abstract
Philosophical mentality, equivalent to the philosophical spirit, is a characteristic that is evident in the philosopher's behavior and way of thinking, her dealings with others, her encounter with problems, and in general in all aspects of her life, and distinguishes her from others.This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between philosophical mindset and research performance and creativity of professors of Shahr Babak Azad University in the academic year 1402-1403. Considering the purpose and nature of the research, the research method of this study is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of this study is all professors of Shahr Babak Azad University and the sample size of this study is 60 people, who were selected through convenience sampling. The data collection tools were the philosophical mindset questionnaire, the Torrance Creativity Assessment Questionnaire, and the research performance questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between philosophical mindset and creative teaching of professors of Shahr Babak Azad University (r=0.512) and a positive and significant relationship between philosophical mindset and the performance of professors of Shahr Babak Azad University. There is a significant (r=0/384).
