In order to achieve the objectives of the research, 277 people were selected from among all the students of Farhangian University of Yazd by stratified percentage sampling method. In order to collect data, the information literacy questionnaire of Nikpour et al. (2013), the motivational beliefs of Pentrich et al. (1991) and the readiness of the learner to enter the electronic courses of Saraji and Yarmohammadi Vasil (2014) were used. The data of the research was analyzed at two descriptive and inferential levels using SPSS statistical software and PLS structural equation software. The research findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between motivational beliefs and e-learning readiness (p<0.05). Also, information literacy plays a mediating role in the relationship between motivational beliefs and e-learning readiness.
